ONE MOVEMENT SYSTEM
STEPS ARE A SIGNAL.
NOT THE WHOLE STORY.
A cyclist can have a low step count and still do substantial cardio. A new walker may benefit from a modest daily increase long before a hard interval plan makes sense. PPL1 is designed to keep those contexts connected instead of chasing one arbitrary number.
DAILY MOVEMENTSteps, walking and everyday activity—using the data actually available.
CARDIO TRAININGWalking, running, cycling, rowing, incline work, Zone 2 and intervals—matched to what the user chooses to do.
CARDIO PROGRESSDuration, distance, pace, consistency and heart-rate/intensity context when supported by the user’s data.
THE PPL1 RULE: RECOMMEND. EXPLAIN. LET THE USER DECIDE.
PPL1 should never silently raise a movement goal because of one unusually active day. Adaptive goals evaluate a sustained pattern, then offer the next target with a clear choice to accept it or keep the current goal. Missing wearable data is not treated as zero.
